I'm glad you chose this topic! It is so controversial but one that I totally agree with you on. Zar reffering to your point 2 above, I have to disagree. I think there is more to having an abortion than simply the child being "unwanted". An abortion is an extremly hard and emotional thing for any woman to go through and often the choice is made based on the fact that they cannot provide for a child at that time as much as they believe a child deserves. I always think that a child deserves to be brought into the world with stable parents who are ready for the responsibilities of a child, sometimes that isn't the case and I think that preventing a child from having a struggle fulled life is extremely selfless of the mother.
"To those who consider a foetus to be a human child, what about a neglected child whose own mother couldn't provide for them?" This is such a great point Lucy, It becomes alot harder for a child to deal with problems once they are forced into the world with an inappropriate environment, than when they are just a fetus.
