I started my fan fiction at home, so I'll upload it later. but I'll just write a brief synopsis:
My fan fiction is told from the perspective of a girl who is a huge fan of One Direction and is excited to be going to their show. For all intents and purposes, she is a Mary Sue, and other characters start to question her 'perfectness'. A dramatic plot twist occurs and the story goes awry, changing quickly from your run-of-the-mill romance tale to something much more surreal.
I wanted my fan fiction to be somewhat of a 'spoof' of the genre itself, using tropes of the genre and characters that 'hijack' the plot, so that it's more interesting and not just a regular One Direction fan fiction where the author is thinly disguised as the main character and acting out their romantic fantasies through the medium of writing because they have nothing better to do with their sad little lives. (No, I am really not a fan of fan fiction).
